Vertical Riser doors operate vertically to allow maximum unconstructed headroom. Their simple modular construction enhances the ease of operation and reduces maintenance requirements. Vertical Risers lend themselves to the incorporation of access doors and are easily motorised. Full weatherproofing can be incorporated and they can be clad in timber for greater aesthetic appeal. These doors possess exceptional structural strength.
Vertical Riser doors are suitable for very large openings such as factories, warehouses, cellars and cold rooms, amongst other applications, because they travel vertically and use minimum floor space.
Because of their size, the doors may be divided into single/ double or 3 and 4 leaf sections. Each of the sections rises to connect with the next leaf and draw it up at the same time.
For safety purposes, each leaf has two independent lifting cables attached to the compensating bar, which is connected to a torsion spring system.
The doors are operated by hand crank, manual push-up, hand chain or compact electric motor.
The doors are fitted with Coroma manufactured tracks, hinges and fittings in galvanised steel for corrosion resistance and long, trouble free service.
Multi-leaf doors can be manufactured to a maximum size of 10 m wide by 10 m high (or by special design).
The doors can be sheeted to match the building’s fascia or cladding, or clad in timber for greater aesthetic appeal, for example, in wine cellars.
