Coro-Jack Knife Residential Description
Coro-Jack Knife Doors® are ideal for factories, warehouses, flea markets, trade shops and homes, amongst other applications.
These doors can be non-protruding and can be insulated for wine cellars or cold storage. They are easily glazed to provide good interior light and maximum safety.
The Coro-Jack Knife Doors® are made up of one panel, horizontally split and hinged into two equal leaves for the non-protruding door or the 1/3 x 2/3 split for the protruding canopy type door. The bottom leaf has side rollers running in vertical channel guides. Each roller has an independent cable attached to it. This runs through cable sheaves to the single counter-weight. The counter-weight tower is mounted on the inside of the opening against the wall next to the door.
The door cladding can be matched to the roof sheeting, the factory’s fascia or cladding, or as specified by the architect.
Smaller doors are hand operated with a pull stick. Larger doors may be hand crank operated on request. Coro-Jack Knife Doors® cannot be motorised.
These robust and reliable industrial doors are virtually maintenance free, have the least moving parts and are the most rigid doors on the market.
Jack Knife doors balance in all positions and cause no horizontal stresses to buildings.
Outward opening access and panic doors can be included in the frame of the door.
